Very Important People (Sankofa)
The VIP program offers these teens individual counseling, group counseling, mentorship conflict resolution/anger management, life skills, and sexual and drug abuse prevention. We also offer teens cultural activities through Art Sanctuary performances. We sponsor a modern dance troupe, in which teens choreograph their own dance steps. They also express themselves through Hip Hop, poetry, rap and drawing. There is leadership training, job readiness training, and workshops in health.

Clothes Closet
We have a Clothes Closet for emergency needs ages 0 to adult. We supply new and used clothing to families through a referral system. The Clothes Closet serves the community, and we have been contacted by the Department of Human Services, State Representative Jewel Williams, and the Church of the Advocate for help.

Food Cupboard
Our emergency food cupboard provides food for the hungry. It operates through a referral system from Monday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.

Learning Buddy (Toy Library)Image
The first Saturday of each month, the Quaker City Chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority comes to assist our youth (children 2-12 yrs) with reading games, artwork, and playtime. This gives the grandparents some respite hours, and they are offered workshops on legal, mental, physical and educational issues, and technology skills.

Oh So Beautiful!

We sponsor an I'm So Beautiful co-op program to assist young men and ladies with personal hygiene, mental health, poise, and other aspects of being young men and ladies. Officer Lillian Hentz and Capt. Garcia of Temple University Campus Police is also Head of our Crime Prevention Program as well.†
